Management Reviews & Remote Monitoring Windsor Consulting will do remote monitoring of your tax credit properties by reviewing each certification and recertification prior to the effective date. Windsor Consulting, through the remote monitoring of these properties, insure proper operation of the compliance software, as it relates to tax credit compliance, on each site. It is imperative that the sites stay in compliance with tax credit regulations and it is critical that the properties stay up to date with compliance software input so that the information can be utilized by management staff and by corporate staff. Properly maintained information allows corporate staff to produce reports such as the Annual Owner's Certification without having to manually input the data. The key to successful tax credit compliance is to stay on top of site staff and to insure that procedures and regulations are followed. Currently, a quarterly review of properties is inadequate in order to insure ongoing compliance and proper maintenance of automated programs. Windsor Consulting will charge a per unit per year fee for remote compliance. Each certification and recertification will be reviewed and approved prior to signing the Tenant Income Certification. Documentation will be transmitted from the property to Windsor Consulting via toll free facsimile. Approval or request for clarification will be submitted to the property by the close of the next business day. Windsor Consulting will charge a per unit per year fee for maintenance of tenant tax credit certifications on compliance software. This will be done through a remote access connection or through data transfer via electronic mail. Remote monitoring will better provide tax credit compliance and will reduce the time spent by corporate staff on reporting and/or software issues. Remote Monitoring will also reduce the cost to each property. Quarterly site inspections can run in excess of three times the cost of Remote Monitoring. Remote Monitoring will also reduce the time spent by corporate staff in coordinating the visits to the sites. Compliance review also becomes a daily occurrence which means less time units are possibly out of compliance and ineligible for credits. |
